In this romantic walled garden you’ll discover a diverse and thriving collection of rare and fascinating plants. Adorning the walls are unusual brick follies, which in turn are covered in an array of flowering climbers and shrubs. The richly planted borders are bursting with colour all summer.
Stone House Cottage Garden is a romantic walled garden in the heart of Worcestershire. Walls and hedges create a series of small, intimate spaces, while towering follies frame the garden, proudly surveying the scene below. Among its rich and vibrant planting, the white and yellow border stands out. Here, the snowy rounded flowerhead of phlox contrast with the pointed spires of veronica – like thin white brush strokes against the green. This is all set against a brick wall, spotted with chalky lichen.
