This 300-acre World Heritage Site landscape is home to the largest collection of living plants on the planet. Whatever the weather there’s lots to enjoy, including the Palm House with its exotic plants, the Princess of Wales Conservatory with its cacti, orchids and giant waterlilies, and the 18m-high treetop walkway. There is also a large rock garden and alpine house, a lake, grass garden, botanical art gallery, veg plots and much more. Festivals, exhibitions and events are held all year round, with free guided tours daily. The stunning new Broad Walk borders – the UK’s longest double herbaceous borders – will be in bloom from early summer.
