The impressive Tudor manor house dates from the 12th Century, and is situated in the beautiful Bakewell countryside in Derbyshire. Set within acres of manicured Elizabethan terraced gardens, the house and grounds are popular with film makers, with screen credits including some of the best known classic stories, including Pride and Prejudice, The Other Boleyn Girl and Jayne Eyre.
Famous for their roses, Haddon Hall gardens have come right up to date, using inspiring new garden designs by RHS Chelsea Gold Medal-winning designer Arne Maynard.

How to get there:
By car: Haddon is situated on the A6 between Bakewell and Rowsley, 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Bakewell. The Hall has a dedicated car park on the A6.
By train: There are excellent train links with London St Pancras via Matlock or Chesterfield, with a journey time of less than two hours on the direct train to Chesterfield.There are taxis available at Chesterfield train station.
By bus: The Hall is on the TransPeak (TP) bus route, connecting Manchester and Nottingham, via Buxton, Bakewell and Derby. More information is available on the Haddon Hall website.
