We finally made it to the Chelsea Flower Show. Everything has arrived and looks fantastic. However it's been a fraught few days and I'm still very nervous.

The final week before Chelsea is always very stressful. I've been worried something in the display would keel over or break. Last night I woke up at 1am wondering if I remembered to water the angelica. I can't wait for the judging to be over so we can all relax.
This last week we've been battling with the heat, which has nearly driven me mad. During the mock up I realised the high temperatures had changed the colour spectrum of the display. Both the chives and sages had burst into full flower, so we had to lose the wode, as its yellow flowers looked strange against the sudden mass of purple. The poppies, however, are in full flower and look fantastic.
The hare sundial is in its final resting place. It looks wonderful with the herbs planted around it and really sets off the display. I am really pleased with this year's exhibit. This is the final year we'll be exhibiting our herbs in the floral marquee, and we're ending on a high.
Jekka's exhibit won Gold at the Chelsea Flower Show 2008.
