Robust debate is fine, but please tolerate opinions that differ from your own, and maintain a reasonable tone in your posts. Also, try to keep to the theme of any threads you enter, so the forum remains useful to everybody.
 
Be considerate
Many people on the forum will be new to gardening, and come here for help, advice and support. Make them welcome, be generous with your knowledge and don’t ridicule anybody for their lack of knowledge or experience.
 
Be honest
Please don’t pretend to be another forum user, or a public figure, or infringe copyright by using other people’s text and images without permission.
 
That just leaves us to request that you also refrain from promoting or selling goods and services on the forum.
 
If you read any forum post that you feel breaches this code of conduct, please use the ‘Report to moderator’ function. Forum moderators will contact anyone who disregards the code, and bar them if necessary. We don’t expect the situation will arise, though.
