Do you agree this may well be James Grieve?

    Yes, very similar, thanks. I only have 8 left of 31 pollinated after the wind and rain. Mind you, only 3rd summer!

    Ok, here they are. I'm a bit late with the pics. Prob about early September had to harvest the 'mystery' tree as they were turning brown inside. Perhaps the jonagol could have done with longer but some where huge.

    I still think they are James Grieve. What do you guys think?

    (The darker green & red are the jonagold, the lighter yellowish and red ones are the mystery ones!)

    There are Apple Days all over the country at the moment.  Take an apple and the shoot it came from along and they will name it for you.
