how do i stop woodlice eating my strawberries

Woodlice only move in after something else - probably slugs - has already damaged the fruit.

To try and control slugs, you could try raising the strawberries, straw underneath the fruit, or wildlife-friendly slug pellets.

I have heard the experts disagree about wood lice......whether they do damage or not. They digest wood, don't they? At least rotting wood. I tend to look under pots, saucers etc., in greenhouse for them - that's where they tend to gather. I think alina is prob right though about the slugs.
