Pruning baby gooseberry plant

I took a couple of cuttings last autumn from the gooseberry bush in my mother's garden - because it is very good one !!

One of the cuttings has taken; it's about 150mm tall.  Should I aim at shaping it now or leave that for another year ?

Thanks, Rob

Agree with Verdun, gooseberries are best grown with a 'leg' about 15-20cm tall and then a wineglass shape of branches above that.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
