We have had to dig up all our garlic today at our allotment due to rust on the leaves. They were a mixed bunch really of various sizes. Disappointing but, judging from other people's experiences it looks like it's the climate change doing on that is to blame. What we'd like to know is what is safe to grow on the same area once it's been dug over? Also, our onions are falling over. Can anyone advise on this? There is no sign of onion rot or suchlike....we dug one up and had it for our dinner (not on it's own!!). Is this again down to the climate/weather? All comments greatly welcomed!!
