I have been watching a you tube ptesentation of seed germination and the chap from a commercial nursery used a 50/50 mix of compost and vermiculite
so I went to my ;local GC and it was £4.58 for a 10ltr bag. I have googled to see if I can buy a 50. 75 or even 100ltr bag on line but cannot find a supplier. Obviously nurserys do not buy it in 10 ltr bags so it must be available somewhere, I would be grateful if somebody could steer me in the right direction

T&M sell 5 litres for £10 so that gives you an idea of prices. It is not a cheap product.
Try Amazon approx £30/40 for 100 litres. I use a wholesale/retail landscape supply company for buying compost/sand/gravel, there may be one in your area?
I HAVE SEEN IT ON EBAY AT 10LTRS, YOU COULD CONTACT THE SELLER TO SEE IF THEY DO LARGER QUANTATIES.
I`ve been using Horticultural Vermiculite from Wilkinsons, bulked and improved with a good quality compost. It`s £3.58 per 10 litres.

After smortimer suggested e bay I looked and there is a company that sells 100ltr bags for £24.99 free pp sometimes the obvious is too obvious and you miss it.
Great stuff.
