what kind of Pear is this

Hi! Me and my husband moved into a house with a existing pear tree. We were told it was desiesed and didn't produce any pears. This year we have a a full tree! I would love to know if the tree is in fact still dieseased amd what kind of pears they are. Thank you for any insight!

It looks like William's Bon Chretien but - as with trying to put a name to many plants - it is very difficult to be 100% accurate. Commercial pear growers may be the best source of information for naming your particular variety but as pansyface says it 'looks fine to me' too. image
