My minarette apple tree set fruit and I summer pruned a couple of weeks ago. To my dismay, all the leaves have now gone, I cant see them on the ground and there isnt one left, although the apples are still there ( very small!) what have I done wrong?? is it related to the weather?? the plum and pear minarettes are next to the apple and they are fine, and my apple espaliers further up the garden are also fine

I think you might be right! I checked closer on the tree today and the leaves are down to the stalks, so they have been nobbled. A pity I didnt spot it earlier, especially as I took the trouble to put butterfly net on once the fruit was set..... Do you think i should just remove the apples, they are about the size of plums? Should I do anything like spray ? I try to be organic so only generally use soft soap if needed
