Brocoli flowering & catapillars on fruit and veg.

I am quite a novice gardener but I really enjoy learning so any help will be really helpful. Problems I have encountered this growing season are my brocoli has been growing ok but can't stop it flowering,should I cut each flowering head off or any suggestions. On my rasperrys and blackberries plants I have sprayed with repellant but still catapillars exist. Please reply Gerry.

The flowering stems on Broccoli is what you eat, so cut them ans serve them up. They will continue to prduce stems for a while.

Not sure what you mean about a repellent for caterpillars?

Have the bushes finished fruiting?

What i mean about repellents is even when I followed some advice on spraying with repellant to try and rid catapillars from chewing the plant they still exist any suggestions.
