Hi Nick, I planted my earlies in February in three of those bag things as advertised in "gardeners' World". The spring was non existant so they didn't start to grow until April and we have just emptied one bag to find about two pounds of rather small potatoes (but of an edible size)  I will leave the other bags for a week or two more. We will have to be patient this year I'm afraid. Good Luck with yours anyway.

Yeah, I'm the same, although I've made a mental note to put the planters in the greenhouse til it warms up, then we wouldn't be 4-5 weeks behind

I have twoof the bags on the patio, both are quite high now, about 2-3 feet, none are flowering though so assume i need to continue to wait.

My potatoes are in bags, compost almost to the top as I've kept topping up. The leaves are about 6 inches above the top of the bag but show no sign of flowering yet so they aren't ready to harverst. I wait until they've flowered and leaves die off a little before investigating. I'm always eager to find out what we've got.
