We have raspberry plants and recently the leaves have started curling. They are not losing colour or being eaten as there are no bite marks or parts of the leaves missing. They are curling inwards. No obvious sign of whats causing it. Anyone know what it might be and how to treat it?? Thanks!

Have you uncurled a leaf-I find that this usually a sign of aphid attack-are there signs of any ants farming aphids?

We do have trouble with ants, they have eaten the tops off the shoots on our Clematis. What would you recommend as a deterrent/ treatment??

Sorry- perhaps I haven't made myself clear-ants aren't the culprit-aphids are-the ants feed of the sugar secretions of the aphid-so if you see ants then there are aphids- you need to control the aphids.

Uncurl a leaf-what do you see?-if it isn't aphid it might be a caterpillar

I doubt that ants are responsible for the damage on your clematis either.
