Soya beans

Hi, I wondered if anybody has any experience in growing soya beans, as this is my first attempt and I havent really got a clue what to do with them. At the moment they are about 4 inches tall in small pots in the greenhouse. Do I grow them up canes for support and how tall do they grow, and how long do they take roughly before you can harvest the beans. Many thanks for your help and time

Yes, I grew them about 15 years ago.  I think you need to buy some frozen ones and see if you like them before you devote space, time and energy in growing the things.

Need I say I didn't find them worth the effort?  Dull in the extreme.

I think  they grow  in a similar way to broad beans.

Yes they do but the pods produce far less beans.
