Here it is then, at the back of the garage where I have my work area.   All the plants are either seedlings, rescued plants from clearing beds or divisions - all waiting to be big enough to cope with life in the borders.

That's pretty, I do love Belfast sinks  The one by my back door looks rubbish but next year I'm clearing it out and filling it with mint, I was undecided when I got it.

The one at the front I am going to fill with Cyclamens soon and my favourite one which has been on here a few times is staying just as it is for now, although the Geum is coming out in Autumn.

Aw thanks OL, used to be full of herbs but wanted something different, so went for alpines - wanted pretty flowers ... Snails love it but coming on ! There's thyme in the centre but sluggies keep scoffing it lol

27/07/2014 at 21:12

Really really pretty flora rosa

Orchid lady I bet yours don't look rubbish!

Why are your moving the geum? I thought that was your fave  Looked lovely one in your previous pics

27/07/2014 at 21:24

Lovely Flora Rosa. I'm still looking for one, so I'm green with envy.

Which one is by your back door OL, I thought all of yours looked lovely.

27/07/2014 at 21:42

Guessing you have tried eBay star gaze?

27/07/2014 at 21:53

The Geum is my fave BM but I want to mix that in the borders with my other Geums and I think it's too big for the sink, also it's not an alpine

The one by the back door is the one with geraniums in Lily and lavender and it does seriously look rubbish, no colour at all as the geraniums aren't flowering!!  So they are all going in the border and it's being filled with mint

27/07/2014 at 22:40

Love mint

Hope the geum has a safe journey to the border

Must admit I haven't looked for a little while, but have looked on ebay, but they are usually far too far away.

27/07/2014 at 23:41

Never thought of looking on ebay!

I have many pots of Sedums and houseleeks that are overflowing. I'd love to move them to a sink!

Just looked on ebay and there are not many in our area; I think us brummies are too posh to use these sinks, so there's none about   .

...................................just put a bid on one of twenty odd quid - 20 miles away ...........fingers crossed.

27/07/2014 at 23:42

I still can't believe my bargain, but won't go on about it....don't want to upset my friend Lily

27/07/2014 at 23:47

OL you was very luck lady

star gaze did you know you can put an indicator on eBay and they will let you know if a Belfast sink is listed in your area via email?

Greg I agree Brummies are far too posh!  Good luck with your bid, let us know how you get on

28/07/2014 at 09:59

Lol Greg, when ever I've looked on ebay, thats where most of them are!! Good luck with your bid

Still sulking OL
