Son no2 came round to do lots of work in the garden so I helped by picking a big bunch of flowers for the house!

Green wheeliebin overflowing as the rain stayed away yesterday afternoon.  Mountains of prunings to be disposed off though one son was threatening to get an incinerator!

Thank you Flumpy.  I am feeling better.  my heart is no longer racing like the clappers!  You cannot not see it online I'm afraid.  Very wet out in my garden and still raining in Bristol.  Yes we are promised a drier day tomorrow.  Just my luck as I have two sons coming this afternoon hoping to fill up the green wheelie bins for me as they have just been emptied.  Will be too wet a job i fear.

Gloomy but dry in Bristol so far Flumpy but rain forecast.  Expecting family visitors so checking what jobs need doing!  I think all the tender plants are in now.

What a superb picture that is Flumpy.  I have not seen any hedgehogs this year.

Dry, warm day in Bristol but rain forecast for tonight.  Autumn colours are appearing so do not want wind to knock the leaves off the beautiful trees!

So do mine Flumpy.  That one is Joyce's.  I have flowers as well as fruit on my Japanese Quince at the moment so it is getting the seasons mixed up as well.

Awww Flumpy .  Not to worry.  i have lots of friends, family and the NHS looking after me!  Seeing the heart failure specialist next Wednesday.  Saving every breath i can by resting a lot.  Precious thing breath!  My spirits are lifted every morning when i look out my window at my acer and into my conservatory at my pelargoniums.  Slept through till 4am this morning when my pounding heart woke me but that is so much better than the 1am which has been the usual lately so should not feel so whacked today.

Amazing amount of colour and nearly October, Joyce.  long live global warmimg or climate change or whatever it is called nowadays!  Eight baby bluetits have just flown into my clematis montana thicket over the garage roof followed by a parent so looks like the nest is in there.

Our hospital is new and stunning is putting it mildly.  Interior design is all pastels and art on the walls!  Just what people not too ill to be in hospital want to keep going!  There are some very clever people building the new parts of Britain.  There were pastel chairs and electric glass pods to ferry you around.  I would like to have seen more indoor plants but no doubt that will come as emphasis is on lack of infection.
