My adventures in my garden 2017 part 2.

Love trycistris.  Just back from hospital where I had a chest Xray.  Have appointment for Oct.4th to see the heart failure team specialist.  The sun was shining the whole time and and I was most impressed with our lovely new hospital and how efficient it was.  No waiting about anywhere.  Feel better for just being out of the house even if it was only to the hospital!  Tomorrow is set to be a lovely warm day so i will treat myself to big bunches of flowers from my garden and decorate the house!

My son is taking me for a chest Xray later today .  My heart beating too fast woke me at 1am and could not get back to sleep so very weary this morning.  I expect the heart medication takes a few days to take effect.  I have poked my head out the back door to breathe in some fresh air but it is cold and drizzly.

Beautiful day so will take my chair outside and watch the birds Here is a collar dove stripping my pyracantha of its berries.  I hope they leave  the holly berries.  The rosehips have nearly all gone.  My new heart pills have just been delivered so have had my first one.  Here's hoping!

Just back and been from pillar to post.  Thank goodness my son was with me.   Still not had an Xray but will wait till I feel rested before going for that.   So very tired now after all that travelling around.  Whatever do sick people do who do not have friends or family to help?

Going for a chest Xray with one of my sons at lunchtime.  Still breathless and have persistent backache that is driving me to tears.  I have been awake since 1 am so feeling very weary.

Three of the family have spent all day gardening.  My pelargoniums are all in, lots of pruning done.  Potatoes harvested.  Companion for my chest Xray tomorrow with transport booked.  Hooray!!!  It has been glorious gardening weather today.  Splendid garlic brought from the Isle of Wight and Hibiscus Tbags to lower my BP!!!  I feel like the children have become my parents now!

Hi Flumpy. Wet here too.  I am very breathless this morning so doing nothing strenuous  Have not got my new medication yet so cannot blame anything !  Family coming this afternoon so will get them to put my tender plants under cover as it is definitely colder this morning.  Glad you like my pics.  I think a gentle amble round the garden does me the world of good just looking and snapping.

Went up my garden with my camera for a breath of fresh air.  Sun is shining brightly.  The acer is one I grew from a two leaved seedling I weeded at the Botanic Garden.  Its parent had very dark burgundy leaves.

My family are rallying round.  a few can alter their work schedules if I need transport and a companion.  Do not feel so isolated now.  A bit breathless this morning but persevered.  I think it took twenty minutes to get dressed!

.Breathing normally again!  Pouring with rain outside and very windy so I am glad i took the early appointment from the doctor when he rang me last night after the email he had from the doctor at the Care centre.  He offered me a later one so I would not have to get up early   I am totally amazed at the care ad attention i am having and very very grateful.

Made it home from the doctor's who apologised for bringing me out.  I must have been in such a state.  My artial fibrillation was very bad.  Start new medication prescribed by the care centre today but doctor said it could affect my sugar so wants blood tests after i have been on it a week.  All go but I have picked up the branches blown off my trees in the garden by the terrific wind we had last night.  I bet it will take me half an hour to stop my racing heart now!
