Hello, I'd be really grateful for some advice - my neighbour has recently built a conservatory literally on our border, and we now sit on the patio facing his brick wall.
I plan to erect trellis and would like to plant a climber to obscure the wall.
The location is extremely sunny (south facing), well shielded from wind but also reasonably large (3m wide x 1.8m high). Ideally I'd like it all - a fast growing, perennial climber with flowers and scent, but realise I'll have to compromise somewhere!
The plant could go in the ground (as long as its roots aren't problematic for buildings) or in pots. I'd really appreciate some expert advice, many thanks in advance,
