I've just tipped this out of the pot it flowered in and the bulbs looks very healthy.

This was identified for me by Happy Marion back at flowering time. What I need to know now is shall I dry it off or replant it now.

Personally I would keep it planted. I have it growing in the rock garden and it stays there all year round without being disturbed.

whatever you do label it - I spend hours every autumn trying to identify bulbs that have beeen dug up inadvertently during the year because once they have died down I forget where they were.

thanks Berghill, I'll do that. There are several bulbs now, some quite small. I might make 2 potential patches

gg this one appeared from nowhere, or more likely in a pack of other alliums.

Labels? doesn't sound like my garden but I do keep a plan and list of what's been planted where.

thank you both

Why not divide your allium paradoxum bulbs into two - plant half in the garden and the rest in a pot.  Label the pot and you then have a reminder of the early flowering small white allium which will appear next year in the garden.
