Allium Seed heads

BelfastboBelfastbo Posts: 17

Last year I collected the seed head of my giant alliums and stored them.  This year my new puppy destroyed the emerging plants image  I would love to try growing them from the seed collected but don't know when to sow and how do I go about it?  I haven't had much success with raising plants from seeds. Again, any help welcome image

They need to be sown fresh rather than dried off. You can let them self-sow, but if you want to do it more formally, there is a good account of how to sow them here.
