I want to suggest begonia, is it in a pot?

It's begonia semperflorens or bedding begonia, an annual bedding/pot plant. 

It looks a bit lonely,

Aw, what a sad looking begonia. I would take it and put it in a pot to see if it improves. You could take it inside for the winter then.

Pot it up now and move to warmer spot for next few weeks and then indoors for winter. Next year it will be fantastic
