Hi folks I've just brought 100 bulbs that shouldn't be put into the garden until the last frost has gone.
so my question is should I put them into tubs to start them off before I plant them?

It depends what they are Nick
Ranunculus
gladiolus
triteleia
dahlia
The ranunculus and gladioli can be started off in pots now.
I would wait until Late April/ May to plant any of those in the ground though.
Dahlias probably best to wait a little while to put into pots
Never heard of Triteleia :P
Shouldn't be a problem in (frost free) pots. MB87 is right but it does depend on when your last frost date is. This site has a good guide for different parts of the UK http://www.gardenaction.co.uk/main/weather1-result.asp
You need to wait until the dahlias start sprouting new growth and then plant in a pot. They don't need to be too deep in the pot.
