Common Hogweed - grows wild and free

Ammi majus - you have to buy seeds and sow them and grow them

Thankfully not Giant Hogweed.  Don't be tempted to think if you like this you'll like the Giant version of it.

Google will tell you why.

If you decide not to keep it and considering strimming it down or pulling it up, wear protection as the sap can cause serious eye problems, skin irritation and even burns and blisters.

Common Hogweed isn't dangerous. When I was a child I picked armfuls every day at this time of year for our pet rabbits and our milking goats.

Giant Hogweed is a different kettle of fish and I wouldn't touch it I've you paid me. Nasty stuff.
