choisya

My choisya is huge and bits keep falling off. If I wanted to give it a very severe haircut, a number one maybe, when would be the best time?

  • It is recommended to prune summer shrubs such as Choisya after flowering which would be about now.  I have a few in the garden .... they are mature ..  16 years in the garden but I prune them after flowering and shorten stems that are too long ... to keep them where I want them to be. If your shrub is large. over grown then maybe you should prune it hard in the winter months.  I hope this helps you ...
