My garden has 2 conifers that have been pruned into ball shapes. They are roughly 6 ft tall and about 5ft diameter.

I don't really like them much- does anyone have any ideas about what can I do with them? Short of digging them out that is.

Are they Leylandii? The type is important
I have cut Leylandii leaving no green shoots at all and creating a "spur" system of short twiggy branches and then wrapped clematis mesh around and planted honeysuckles and clematis.
Leylandii should not reshoot but some conifers will.....like Taxus....

If you don't like them, let them go. A garden is for what you do like.
