Dahlia cuttings
I have taken cuttings from potted tubers for the first time: they are growing well and I would love to give some to my daughter to help fill out her new garden. Will they flower this year? Following Sarah Raven's advice I planted the tubers quite shallowly in their 3 litre pots ..... will it be OK for them to be just as shallow when I plant them out?

I should think they'll flower, they flower from seed in the first year.
In the sticks near Peterborough
They will ceainly flower this year, all show dahlias flower the same year they are rooted.
Sorry should have been "certainly".
