I'm looking for a climber for my arch way which isn't poisonous to my dogs, as it seems everything I look at is poisonous to them. Please help, many thanks to anybody that can help.

..I wonder, does your dog eat your climbers? I'm not sure quite what's going on there... I've got a dog and I have a pyracantha on my archway.  It's quite thorny and he doesn't go near it... and shows no interest in the berries that may drop in Autumn....  would a nice rose not be suitable?

alternatively, if thorns are a problem, there is a readily available, mainly thornless pink rose called 'Mortimer Sackler' that will grow up an arch.  Perhaps that will be alright for you... the few thorns are near the base of the plant...
