Don't expect a response tonight, everyone seems to be at a party in a cabin somewhere - but today I noticed what looked like Forget-me-nots growing through - isn't it too early, thought they were spring - or are they an imposter weed?

Forget me nots are several inches high here, self sets from this spring. Hundreds of them, need thinning and transplanting around the garden
Brunnera and forget me nots are similar in flower but very different in leaf and growth
In the sticks near Peterborough
Yes, They always start growing late summer and then flower the following spring.
Mine are up as well.
Thank you - I was pretty certain they were forget me nots, just didn't realise they grew up so early. Do think there will be some thinning taking place though, rather a lot of them!
I'm not in a party in a cabin I have forget-me-nots popping up amongst the vegetables in my allotment at the moment (self sown).
Forester2 why you not coming to the party?
I always have forget me not seedlings continuous throughout every summer and even if I pull them all up I still have lots of lovely flowers in the spring
