Has anyone seen a poppy before? I'm hoping its a x I have managed to create from a black currant fizz and a lilac double.......?

Hi , Ive not seen this colour one it reminds me of the Peony type Poppy . This year I too had a differant poppy dont know where its from I have not planted it from seed but the birds may have helped !

My poppy is similar but it is white streaked with red will try and get a photo on here too . But I'm also curius - please tell how you have managed to CREATE IT ?

It's an opium poppy. Very distinctive because of its grey "cabbagy" leaf. They selfseed and once you have them they will keep coming.

We have them in pink, red, mauve, single semi-double and double. If they grow where they are not wanted they are very easy to pull out
