 Hi All

Please can you tell me what plant this is?  It was kindly given to us by a neighbour when they moved house, I want to plant it in the garden but I need to know more about how to care for it first.

Many Thanks for any help you can offer!

It looks like a Sorbaria to me. If so, it's tough and will grow more or less anywhere, but may sucker. I have S. sorbifolia 'SEM' in a pot though my neighbour has it in the ground where there's lots of competition. It's suckering gently.

Sambucus racemosa 'Plumosa Aurea'

Not the same species as the standard elder but an it's an elder

I'd agree with nut- Elder. The leaf at the bottom left of pic gives the best clue
