in Plants
This plant is growing downstairs on my neighbours wall and has recently bloomed. We are getting a very unpleasant smell through our back windows when we open them up. The only thing I can compare it to is a mild smelling urine.
does a know what this plant is and if it may be causing the smell???

The image is too fuzzy when I zoom in to be certain but it looks like a "Clematis Montana". Smells can be subjective.....I hate the smell of lilies, others love it.
Do you have any cats visiting the garden? That could be the cause of the urine smell, although tomcat spray is quite pungent. Just a thought.
It is fuzzy, but looks like jasmine to me, but it's not generally thought to have a urine-like smell

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
It's not a clematis. Is Jasmine out like that now?
Really need a more in focus pic

Pete is probably right......my eyesight's shocking .
Thank you for all your suggestions guys. It's not my garden I live in the flat above. I will check in with the neighbours tonight and hopefully get a more focussed picture!
Goodness.....it looks like Jasminum polyanthum.
But it doesn't take frost amd most people say it smells wonderful..
Where in UK is this growing?
