OH du. these up yesterday and I want to replant them.  They're gorgeous yellow irises that were underneath a child's climbing frame.  Any advice on replanting them?

Hiya daisy nutcase.......what a brilliant name!

Plant those rhizomes in nice sunny warm position with the tops of the rhizomes uncovered by soil.  They need to bake as much as possible to,produce next year's flowers.  Ideally pin them in place to stop rocking. You can cut half of the top growth back to help stability.  Water well for few days then leave them alone

Thanks Verdun (I thought yours was clever).

I will do that.  Presumably I pin down with stones or something?
