Ive found some packets of seeds maked Nigella, Aquilegia, Cowslip, Lupin,Marigold and Sweet William.

Please can you tell me when and where is the best time to sow these>
Also, I have a large shady bed full of Snowdrops. They have been truly beautiful but are now fading fast. I read somewhere that the flowers and leaves should be allowed to die off naturally but it takes ages for the leaves to go so the result is a bed full of green leaves and nothing else. Is it alright to chop the leaves off when the flowers have finished?

I have planted all the seeds you mentioned just now, well about 2 weeks ago, so put them in now and all should be OK, also, I wouldnt cut the green off my snowdrops, or the seed heads, they will reproduce from the seeds.

I'll sow them tomorrow then and leave the Snowdrops alone. Thankyou for the advice.
