help with unusual plant identification

Can anyone help identify this plant?  Bought 3 years ago at RHS Cardiff show but when I opened the bag at home no label!  I have been told it is a specialist plant called a Moriana but still cannot find anything about it.  It has spiky leaves so no slugs touch it and has so far lived through some harsh frosts.  Difficult to get into flower but I find feeding it lots and often helps. Agree, Morina longifolia. Nice, but collecting the seeds is painful!

Yes painful! I did this last year, dried the seed head and shook them out into paper bag.  After keeping  them in cool and dark I sowed them this spring keeping in cold frame.  Only one has germinated, difficult but rewarding plant to grow.  Thanks for confirming the name and I will check out to find out what I have been doing right and what I need to change in terms of conditions. image happy bunny now I know what I have!
