honeysuckle growth

Last summer I planted late dutch honeysuckle against my courtyard trellis. Can anybody advise me on how much growth to expect this year? I'm a little impatient and want my trellis covered!!!

Depends on how happy the plant is and the variety. keep it well watered and fed(general purpose) keep pruning to  a minimum and train as needed.

Can anyone tell me whether honey suckle grow clockwise or anti-clockwise please?

I have a honeysuckle over an arch, which has leggy growth but no flowers. Would feeding be the answer? It's next to a hedge and I was concerned that this was taking the moisture, but there is another growing right in the hedge which flowers! Any ideas?
