Look like little oak trees and nettles!
The look like self seeders.Of what I know not.
What did you have growing near to this area last year?.Or even yards away as some seed pods are explosive in their action. They seem to have survived any frost that you may have had.
They are not pansy seedlings
You could pot one up to allow it to flower and remove the others.
definately not oaks we dont have any here and def not nettlres
they look the leaves more like fruit trees? cherry plum ?
we have a lot of birds that could have dropped seedlings from our fruit trees
just had bedding plants last year
but why are there so many shoots?in such a small bed?
think i will plant a few up in pots to see what happens this tear
They remind me a bit of Chinese Lantern seedlings (Physalis alkekengi) - did you have any growing there last year?
