Saponaria grows wild on the Towans behind me leading to the beach.  Lovely in the wild but wouldn't want it in my garden

It's all about taste and style of gardening isn't it?

I love to have the wild plants and the wildlife that goes with them.

I was in a GC on Sunday and watched what people were buying, lot sof which I wouldn't consider for my garden

Hurrah, you lot have identified the plant I have been trying to eradicate from my garden (back and front) for 2 years - it was pretty but floppy and messy in late summer.  I had thought it was some kind of phlox and have been avoiding getting more in case they tried to invade as well  I've dug tons of it out and just when I think I've won, up pops another bit.

Thank you
