I'm looking for a largish plant as a replacement for a Jardiniere    ?    Just thrown out a sad Peace Lily    ???

It all depends where you're going to place the jardiniere - if we can work out why the Peace Lily was unhappy we might be able to make some useful suggestions.

I've got a calathea from B&Q. Likes high humidity and partial shade

Not going to get high humidity in a normal UK house during winter, even in a bathroom.

If the jardiniere is in good light a scented leaved pelargonium, allowed to grow large and bushy, can look really good.
