Can anyone identify the variety of iris in the attached photo - I wish to obtain some.

Hi Fred!

Looks very much like Iris "Clasic Look" or Iris "Bold Print"

Although the tongue on the end of the petal is throwing me out slightly!

hi i think it is a hybrid one called iris geramica or the bearded german iris..

not sure.. as they can be blue too instead violet..
