Hi a poser for you ,my cyclamen corm is very big it is about 7" diameter and is out of the ground 1".It is still flowering its head off do i need to cover the corm or leave well alone.I tried to download a photo but it would not let me .Looking forward to your replies.
Leave it be! If there is a hint of frost cover it, but generally very hardy I find!
A friend of ours had to take a carving knife to a corm of C. hederifolium to get it to fit into a 14 inch diameter plat pot. Won him a lot of Firsts too1
If this is a hardy Cyclamen hederifolium leave it alone, it's how they grow. 7" isn't fully grown. Tough as old boots, I mowed the top off a big one, it only flowered round the edge for years after that but it's back on form now. Totally hardy
Big is always good (where bulbs or cake is concerned)
Thanks for your help,it may not be the biggest but its mine and i love it(not as much as cakes).
