Japanese Anemone's are they easy to move and when's the best time????

Like most summer flowering perennials, they like to be asleep when you move them, so November to March during a mild spell would be best.

And you are likely to end up with the dratted stuff in both places!

Aw, it's lovely!

If they have been in a while Daisy the roots go well deep. Takes some digging to get them out which is why you may end up with them still growing where they are.

Deep is the word. I follwed them down in one part of the garden to over a metre. And still they come up!

Tried to dig some out once and they had disappeared under the foundations of the house!!!! But they are  beautiful even if they are thugs.
