Could anyone advise me on when and how to plant a Jasmin (J. officinale) in a Midlands garden. Unfortunately it has to be against an easterly facing 8ft wall. However it is sheltered and gets full sun till approx 1pm. Thanks in anticipation.
colin I planted my Jasmine in July in free pots from the tip I must say they are doing very well I shall add some mulch end of october and again in the spring
Jasmine likes a sheltered place against a wall, it likes sun too. Now is OK to plant so it can get settled in before it gets cold. Here is the RHS page about Jasmine.
