Lonicera ID

Has anyone got an idea re this lonicera? Flowering now, bush type not climbing.

Bought many years ago as purpusii, obviously isn't but I've never got round to ID.

Hi nutcutlet. I think it could be Lonicera ledebourii.

Thanks Ladybird, I thought it might be that and then changed my mind for some reason.

I love it, it's getting a bit swamped between a bamboo and one of those purple weigelas. I'm having the weigela out, don't like it.

The bamboo can stay, I'll just cut some stems outimage

Looks similar to mine. Does it have berries after the flowers?

Yes, I think all the Loniceras do that though.

Its pretty but was huge. Its had a brutal haircut (you can see the stump cut off in background) and still sprung back as big!

Please tell me when to prune it, and how!  Mine has shot up as far as the bedroom window.  Growing through an old Albertine, and starting to swamp it.  Do I cut some stems, or all?  Do I cut them in half, or to short stumps, or down to the ground?  When should I do it?  Everything on line about it seems to be US facts sheets about it being a native plant; one such sheet says "coppicing" which I presume means cut the whole thing to the ground.  But WHEN??
