I have two blue, single mecanopsis plants in my garden in full bloom. One of them has produced a beautiful very double flower. Is this unusual? And if I keep the seed head and sow the seeds will the new plants have double flowers too?
You can certainly try sowing the seeds, but only a percentage of the seeds will resemble the parent, if that.
