I need to move a rhododendron as I am making the bed smaller. it is now flowering can I move it now or do I have to wait?

Hiya Angela

Always better to wait until flowering is over. You need to wait just  a couple of weeks However, I move things in flower cos I'm impatient to wait a year to see the new effect.

If you disturb the roots whilst it's in flower the flowers will probably drop off. It won't kill the plant though and it should flower again next year.

Definately not now.  Wait until the flowering season is over, plus a month.  Then you should be safe to move.
