Mystery plant

Yaz ShahYaz Shah Posts: 2

Hi,

We've had this plant growing in our garden now for maybe 2 years and its shot up this year; over 6 foot. My children always go in the garden and plant seeds from fruits so not sure what this is. Any help would be grateful.

Thanks

thanks for your quick reply nutcutlet.

Had a quick check of Salix Caprea online; the leave do look similar but I don't think I've ever seen the male/female catkins on this plant

I agree, Goat willow.  The catkins don't always appear every year.
