We have all been too busy in the garden to keep up so prehaps we should have a coupleof days for each letter
J is for ???
Johnson's Blue Geranium? or Jelena Hamamelis?? Think I might be scraping the bottom of a barrel here ....
Jasmine, the winter and the summer kinds.
Stuck with J. Knautia for K - or have I jumped the gun?
kniphofia - don't like it - memories of a house I had with the front garden taken over with it.
I know there are more elegant modern varieties but it's a case of first impressions
Now I understand why you didn't want it for your jewel border.
There aren't many Js are there? but I did find Narcissus 'Jetfire'
and a kestrel
Matty2 - or may I call you Matty ?? I had a similar problem with kniphofias when I moved to my present abode. Once I'd got rid, I vowed never again!
Kestrels and kingfishers though I've never had either in my garden.
Knee pads are an essential item for me
I've got three kniphofias in the garden now, sounds like they spread?
Kale, not ever grown it
Hollie -I think you have to be brutal with them every now and again to keep them in check
Call me matty
Are we allowed Kornflowers because of the sound 'K'???
Oh dear - just planted 3 kniphofias - am I going to regret it
If we are allowed kornflowers then can I have kornus kousa (I only joined in recently so missed all the c's)
Good, they don't sound too bad then, I'm learning to be brutal in the garden
Well if that's the case, I'm going for Kourgettes......growing these for the first time, big seedlings
Lovely Kestral nut
Flo Bear; Knee pads - they are my comfort blanket! Without them my knees would be well and truely knackered.
Art- Is that knackered with a K?.....I'm a bit the same with Kniphofias but there are some nice new varieties as opposed to the (rather ugly) standard one.
Kestrels definitely. Knautia-lovely. Great pix.
sorry! Jasmine tried to do pic but won't work at all
Is it L now?
I'd like to kick off with lavender. I love them. Will be sending off for the GW offer when I get a minute so I can have lots around my new paving.
Should be more Ls. Lilac and Lily of the Valley, all coming out here now and smelling so sweet. In France people give each other sprigs of Lily of the Valley on the 1st May and people sell them on the roadsides.
