Wilmottianum.....ceratostigma. Lovely blue flowers soon
Not heard of that one Verdun.
Cheated a bit...ceratostigma wilmottianum? Hardy plumbago. Lovely thing. Even better is one called Griffithi.
griffithii doesn't survive for me Verdun. The easiest from seed, goes through it's first winter in the cold GH, dies in its second winter in the garden
wilmottianum does OK though it does have a spot close to thesouth side of the house.

i'm going to cheat with exochorda. I planted one a couple of months ago (was inspired after seeing a photo of Lizzies on another thread). Was doing nicely til the rabbit found it. Fingers crossed it responds well to heavy pruning.
Oh chick- b****y rabbits. Can you get a bit of wire mesh round it temporarily till it gets going enough to withstand the onslaught?
If not...how about ... X for Execution....
Can I have ex hiliration for when my new Iris opens...any day now
there are 8 or 9 plants in Plantfinder beginning with X. I've never seen any of them.
We might have to move swiftly on to Y.
Only yucca comes to mind at the moment - and have to confess I am not a big fan ...
